home office?
im trying to find someone (handyman) to build a home office desk in my home. i would like a corner unit, that can handle a laptop computer, desktop computer, printer, speakers, and router, i would like it to be movable. i live in the san marcos area near cal state san marcos. budget $400.00

I built my son an extremely clean looking desk from files-metal-black and a hollow core door. You could make a corner unit by hooking them together with metal attachments underneath to make a corner unit. I primered and painted it black with oil paint and got him a nice chair. The hole for the doorknob is perfect to run cords thru. I did make 2 small box forms to cap the file drawers out of pine-glued them with gorilla glue andnailed and sanded them. Painted them black as well and put themon top of files to raise height up to correct place for a desk. People say my home looks like a model home but I do most of it myself-
